Overseas projects constructed including Guinea Tingjisuo, Tunisia Maibeng, Albania Maozhedong Iraq Mousul, Syria Tishrin and Korea Weiyuan etc. Overseas projects under construction including Merowe Dam Project and Roseirs Dam Heightening Project in Sudan, Bakun Hydroelectric Project in Malaysia, Gomal Zam Multipurpose Project and Khan Khwar Hydropower Project in Pakistan. Among of them, Merowe Dam is the longest on Nile and also the largest project which is contracted by Chinese. Bakun Hydroelectric Project is the largest in Malaysia and called as “Three Gorges in Malaysia”.
Capital operation is mainly concentrated on development of electric power, such as Sichuan Jiulong Hydroelectric Development Corporation, Xinhua Electric Power Corporation and Zhaoyuan Electric Power Corporation are invested and share controlled by Bureau 7. Meanwhile, Bureau 7 is also share holder of Sichuan Power Development Co., Ltd of Sinohydro Corporation. Estimated installed capacity of 1,200,000KW will be reached after development.
